Fleur

Scarlet geraniums and cranesbill
Spake in hushed tones
Made friends with sweet basil
With good and freewill.
Blooming in dainty
And sparkling like quartz so flinty
In touches of blue and purple
Lay the asters growing in bushels of circles.
Honeyed magnolia for the love of nature
Capturing and luring every creature.
Heliotropes spring in blue and white
You be dazzled! They seem so bright
Rosy camellias dangling from the tresses
Of plants rising like empresses.
Bonded by the lovely honeysuckle
Like fins of the Huckle.
Lost in the labyrinth of the orchids
Awry and askewd florids.
Nonetheless, you are that flower on the grave
White Chrysanthemums, saved for the brave.
